This time, we’re going to climb the highest mountain in Southern Vietnam – Black Virgin Mountain (Núi Bà Đen) in Tay Ninh Province, 90km to the northwest of Ho Chi Minh City. And what’s more, before conquering this up-to-1000m mountain, we’re going to host some English activities for students at a secondary school there.

The way up the mountain is called Duong Cot Dien (literally translated as Electric Pole.) We need to follow exactly the line of electric poles. Sounds crazy, right? But yes, after passing over 100 poles, we will reach the top, which takes around 2-3 hours.
The way down is much easier with stairs. We can stop by a beautiful pagoda on the way.
